Ms. Anis Suraya is the Managing Partner of Messrs Anis Suraya & Co., Muar Branch. She began her legal education in 2013, pursuing a Bachelor of Law (LL.B. Hons) at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). Following her studies, she completed her pupilage at Sahrihan & Hamdan, Muar, where she gained hands-on experience in conveyancing, estate matters, and running down cases.
She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 2 October 2014 and commenced her legal career as a Legal Assistant at Eidah Sulaiman & Co., Muar. Over the years, she has developed extensive expertise in estate matters, bankruptcy, and general litigation. Notably, she has advised on the administration of estates for prominent figures in Johor, including Tan Sri Othman bin Saat, as well as other complex estate administration cases.
In 2018, Ms. Anis Suraya established her own firm, Messrs Anis Suraya & Co., where she handles a broad spectrum of cases, including conveyancing, general litigation, estate administration, and insolvency matters. She is committed to serving her clients efficiently and upholding the highest standards of legal practice, always prioritizing quality and professionalism in every matter she undertakes.
Nurhidayah is the partner of the Firm who is currently managing Johor Bahru Branch. She is graduated with Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2013 and pursued her study for Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice in UiTM for 1 year.
She served her 9 months pupilage at Messrs Kamaruzaman Arif Amran & Chong, Shah Alam, Selangor and was admitted to the Bar on 9th January 2014. She then started her legal career as an Associate at Messrs. Ikbal Salam & Associates, Johor Bahru, Johor. She was also admitted as Syariah Counsel for State of Johor in 2017. Then, she was promoted as Senior Associate in 2019 before she left the firm in December 2020. In that firm, she was in charge as Head of Retail Conveyancing Department assisted with 1 junior associate and 5 staffs.
Her primary areas of practice are retail conveyancing, commercial & corporate and Islamic estate administration. She has been giving talk and legal sharing sessions on basic of retail conveyancing and Islamic estate administration includings will and hibah to the bankers, developers and public servants in several government agencies such as Majlis Bandaraya Pasir Gudang and Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Johor.
Apart from that, she had been involved in reviewing and drafting new templates of agreement for Rumah Mesra Rakyat Project under Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad in 2015. She had also been involved in drafting the Rent to Own Agreement for some prominent Developers and Government Linked Agency in Johor.
On top of that she has experiences in drafting the joint venture, development and construction agreements for some contractors and developers in Johor.
Ms. Farah Filzah Binti Kamaruzaman is an Associate at Messrs Anis Suraya & Co., Muar Branch. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the Islamic International University Malaysia and completed her nine-month pupilage at Messrs Eidah Sulaiman & Co. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 16 February 2017.
Ms. Farah began her legal career as a Paralegal at Messrs S E Wong & Co in 2018, focusing on conveyancing and wills, before joining Messrs Yoe Hock Thye in 2019 as a Legal Assistant, handling conveyancing, general litigation, and estate matters. She joined Messrs Anis Suraya & Co. in April 2021 and currently serves as Head of the Conveyancing Department at the Muar Branch.
She has extensive experience in loan documentation with a variety of banks, including Public Bank, Hong Leong Bank, Ambank, and others in the private sector, as well as LPPSA (Lembaga Pembiayaan Perumahan Sektor Awam) for the public sector. Ms. Farah is committed to serving the community by applying her knowledge, skills, and expertise to benefit others.
Ms. Farhah Anis Binti Abdul Rahim is a Legal Associate at Messrs Anis Suraya & Co., Johor Bahru Branch. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2022 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 2023.
She completed her pupilage at Messrs Daud & Co, gaining practical experience in conveyancing, including the sale and purchase of properties and both conventional and Islamic banking facility documentation. Following her pupilage, she began her career as a litigation paralegal, acquiring hands-on experience in criminal and civil litigation matters.
In 2024, Ms. Farhah joined Messrs Anis Suraya & Co. as a Legal Associate, focusing on conveyancing and estate administration. Her work involves regular liaison with financial institutions, developers, and governmental authorities to ensure efficient and professional service delivery.
